2026 Resolutions

Before I come up with my 2026 resolutions, it probably makes sense to revisit last year’s list, which was short:

  1. Have a new job no later than March 30th.
  2. Functional Threshold Power over 300, body weight below 185.
  3. Get way WAY better at managing the use of my time.
  4. Go back to therapy.

So, looking back, I didn’t do too badly. First off, I did get a job offer (and accepted it) on March 30th, and started on April 21st, which was awesome. I also got better at time management, and went back to therapy as well.

The bike thing? Yeeeeeah. Not so much. I barely got any riding time in, given the new house, parenting, new job, etc. I’m looking to change that up for 2026, though.

The Actual Resolutions for 2026

  1. Clean-up my finances.
  2. Get at least 3000 miles in on the bike this year.

That’s it. Short, simple, easy-to-pursue.
